INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANON EOS PISTOL GRIP HOUSINGS

1. Remove rubber eyecup from camera.
2. Pull control wheel housing control on the top of the camera housing OUT so the camera does not get scratched.
3. EOS 1n and A2: Screw 60T3 plug into the camera body. Be careful not to force it and strip the threads of the plug or the camera body. You can use a very small amount of light oil on the threads to help things along. There is enough cord to change film or lenses without unscrewing the 60T3 plug. EOS 3: Press plug into camera body. There is enough cord to remove the camera from the housing to change film or lenses.
4. Turn the camera on.
5. Angle the camera to fit the 60T3 plug into the compartment on the side of the housing. Loop the wire under and behind the camera body. Take it easy, don't force it. Gently push the camera into the housing. If the camera is not going in easily, make sure the 60T3 wire is not jammed between the camera body and the housing. If the front plate does not fit on the housing, make sure the camera is fully seated in the housing. Readjust the camera if necessary.
6. If the camera does not fire, or fires intermittently, check for corrosion or oxidation on the 60T3 plug and socket. Clean if necessary.
